Ever since I joined this team my world has become all topsy turvy and all that jazz. I also learned to have a some love for Britney Spears. I say that woman is cool in terms of her talents. Rock on Brittney! w00t! Anyway, I have been to places such as Burlington VT., Monticello N.Y, now Lexington MA. And yet I can not find a way to go to Otakon -o-' .

Speaking of anime, I have been SOOOOO distant from it, like I forgot about everything I saw. Though I still listen to the soundtracks and stuff. Damn I miss those days where I just lounge with a good manga and a tall glass of ice tea. Meh, those were the days.

Our school did pretty well in this novice tournament. We took home a team and speaker award. In my case I took home 17th place speaker and 15th place team. I'm a little dissapointed, but happy at the same time because my partner came home with a award. This was her first tournament so I am happy. Next tournment is in New Jersey, a NYUDL and JUDL SHOWDOWN! I get to see my old partner in CITI, I wonder how he is doing now... Then next tournment in December is in Vermont, I go Varsitey at that tourment. Ready to get my butt kicked at that one.

I feel so sorry for my JV partner it feels like I'm slowing her down. I need to get better. I have to make more blocks, learn more thoery, and make more case Negs. Its now my goal to create a legend out of myself in my school for what I did in the debate team. I won't let this tournament disapointment, now I know my flaws at a novice level and correct them this month. By the December I will be ready for anything!

Next week is a NYUDL at Grover Clevland high school, which is only Novices and there is a NFL which is actually Varsity. Hmmmm get my ass kicked Upstate....or kick ass at a NYUDL, decisions.

I thought of this hot stradegy, with the help mi capitano ^_^, whenever the Negative comes up and runs a DisAdvantage which impact is war and extinction with some Mead cards from 92' and 98', I'm going to Counter Kritik that with some Lipshcitz cards. Cause you know, if you advocate war you gonna get war cause you have that mentality. Duh. o_o Plus I must block out Heidegger, Empire, Foucault, annnnddd Coast Guard (damn you BERGENFIELD and LGJ >o< )

Yesterday I came back from Monticello for a 2 day JV and V tournament. Wow, that tournment was off da HOOK! ^_^ God, I never seen so many debaters in my life. My partner and I's score was 2-3. I wish we broke. -_- But my speaker points was so freaking low. Theres are alot of Negative cases such as Coast guard and California Channels. Plus my 1AR is SOOOOO crappy, must work on that so I can tear it up on this week's tournament.

My next NYUDL tournment is in at Grover, Clevland ^____^ on Nov. 8 . Its an unsual spot for an New York Debate League tournment but meh, at least I get out.

I want to tell you guys about my whole summer. Don't worry its not that long.

July-

That month was pretty uneventful as you can see. Soo I guess you can call that my lazy month.

Now this it where we kick it up 50 knotches! -_^ v I get a letter from Impact Coalition (NYUDL-New York Urban Debate League) saying that I was invited to a Debate camp downtown. I was SO pysched out! ^_^

First day of camp was scary, I had no idea that the first week was Advanced week O_O So I was like wow. I still went anyway because other Novices went also. I had these two really nice lab leaders named Mark & Sarah. Sarah was really sweet to me, she made everything really simple and easy. Mark....that punk made do flowing drills at Varsity level! >o< But I like that, that means he is not underestimating my skills as a Debater. Both of them gave me the skills and abilities to be a great at DB8.

Then on Thursday we sign up for these 1hr lectures. O_x Lets say it went NO BUENO! I signed up for "Kritiking the Disadvantage" with this Chibish guy( Nuuu! he not a midget -o-) teaching. When I left that room, I had this priceless face "O.O........................I DON'T UNDERSTANNDD!" Becuase it had shiet from Deontology (study of human ethics) and Nuclear mentality. If there was on thing I DID learn was this, How to sneak into the libary in NYU. -o-'

Skipping along to Saturday's tournament. Very nerve braking experience. I had a real nice partner though, her name was Neffertiti. She told to me have confindence and we'll be sure to win the round. So I did sorta. o_o We ended up winning 2-1. ^_^ Horray!

End of Advance week!

Novice Weeekkk! ^___^ (Gawd my hands hurt) Well since I learned all this stuff before, I ended up helping my fellow Novices. It was slow and sorta painful to be honest hehe. I had Sarah as my lab leader again along with Andy and Richard, those guys are coolest, nuff said. ^_^ Well the first day, sooo Panel time ^o^!!! WHat do I see?! The Chibi guy! O_x His skinnness defies the laws of nature...*looks at a Gackt picture* x_x Ok ok! Nuff with the Chibi Guy! Well looks like Novices are running a different case than the JV & V's.

Onto Saturday! ^_^ I had a really good Novice partner named Yasim (He was in my lab too this week). He is SUPER good at making arguments from the top of his head and I was good at readinf SUPER fast. ^_^ 1st round was kind of harsh because the other team was a little, "uniniformed" of their evidence. ^_^; My captin judge that round and another lab leader. Next round was nerve racking!!! We had only ONE guy to debate because his partner got sick. And I was "Pooor guy ;_;". Plus the Chibi Guy was judging GAH! O_x Before the 2nd round started it took a while for our opponent to come soo this it what happened:

Chibi Guy: I'll debate you!
Mako: O_O !! Ok I accept! ^_^
Chibi Guy: Observation 1 Inherency, our fishes are being overfished, and tuna is good.
Mako: *flowing like hell* O_O!! nyoro...Tuna tastes good on mayo and bread. ^_^

Then the guy came. Thank Jeebus! ^____^

The guy who had no partner was goood actually, I thought he was kicking our butts! ^_^

Hehe Anyways, I had an ok weekend for the 4th of July. I went to the Poconos with some of my mother's girlfriends. Jesus christ it was just estrogen flying. I was out in the window whispering "Help me!".

On the 4th of July we all went to the pool. Me and my age companion were in the deep end while the adults and kiddies were in the kiddie pool a.k.a Piss pool. You can even see the color difference in that pool. The deep end was nice and blue while the kiddie look green.
After the pool we went back at the house and have a BBQ. But our so called chef burnt almost all the food. I had a nice hard crispy burger -_- yummy.

The next day we went to a family resort. They had an inside water slide. It was so fun in the slide but I thought I was going to die when I reach to the pool. >,< Then also inside they had a pool that had a strong current like a river! That was mad fun! I thought I was like in a movie. After the pool there was an arcade. My age companion and the kiddies were trying to get tickets for prizes while I was playing the Arcade games and crane games. DAMMIT I WANTED THAT DINO PLUSH SO BAD! Ok after that it was back to the house for a BBQ, this time my mom cook, which turned out not so burnt. Just right! .............

Then the next day which was Sunday we went home. AND THATS IT!

I'm going to read Fruits Baskets fanfics then go out for a walk.

Yesterday and now

I couldn'tt post what happened yesterday because I got so busy and dead tired. I had to go to my school today to get my working papers. After that I got to see the new freshman. ^,^ I can't wait to see them next year. Once I had my minute of joy, I went downstairs to Liberty Partnership to see if they still had applications for Summer Youth. Jose, the guy that run liberty partnership, says that he ran out. O_O Oh ho SHIT! Then he told me to go to BFFY to see if they still have. So I went and they did! ^,^ Mako is going to work pretty soon.
After that I thought I treat myself by taking myself to Chinatown. That place was so cool but it was so stinky! >,< I didn't know where I was going so I didn't get too far. I did find this store with some anime posters and DVDs that got my pyshced. Then I went home since there was nothing else to look at. I would like to take some friends though next time.
Now I'm chilling in my mom's bed, on the laptop. I think I want to go outside thought. Ok see ya!
